More Utah Activities!

We went to a new HUGE splash pad one day.  It was in Riverton or somewhere near there.  Scott came to Utah with us, went camping, and then the day after we went back to my parent's he headed back to Montana.  Ty and Maddie (our nephew and his wife) picked him up from the splash pad and he rode back to Billings with them.  The next day we headed to the zoo.  I hadn't been to the zoo in years.  I don't think any of my kids except Sari remembered even going to a zoo.  We saw a HUGE turtle get out of a little pond and walk across the grass.  It was actually pretty cool.   

 My mom got tie dye stuff to make shirts for the kids.  She got Kristin and I all lined out and then she had to go get her hair cut or something so she left us to it.  Ha, what a master plan!  It took longer than we expected and we barely beat a crazy downpour but it worked out and the shirts actually turned out decent.  The kids all wore them at Disneyland one day.  We were pretty hot outside getting the shirts all soaked with dye in our black garbage bags!  It is crazy to think about how hot it was around this time of summer.  Fall is in full swing now and I just want summer back!

 I went to Kristin's house one morning and we worked out.  Ian picked up one of the weights and dropped it on his toe.  It exploded his nail off his toe.  It was barely hanging on and when we went swimming later it fell all the way off.

 One day we went to visit Ryan and Kris.  It was Sarah's birthday so we were able to celebrate with her!

 One day we went swimming with Kristin and her kids and another day and a different pool we went swimming with my book club friends and their kids.  We also went to the Lehi miniature float parade on Friday night.  The kids got a lot of candy so they were happy.
