Ski Lessons

We signed up for ski lessons again this year.  We do the lessons with the Brown family.  Eve sets the lessons up through her home school.  It is such a great deal.  Lucy doesn't like to make mistakes.  She likes to know exactly what is going on and how to do it.  She got a little emotional the first two ski lessons, especially when her lesson was over and it was up to me to help her.  She picked it up so fast though.  There is a picture of her during one of her fits when she won't get up from the ground.  The first lesson I made sure Lucy was really comfortable going down the bunny slope, then I took her up the Miami Beach lift.  We skied down, but it was more challenging for her and she was a bit tired.  She refused to ski anymore.  We had to go to the lodge and sit for about an hour.  I kept trying to get her to go back out but she didn't want to.  We bought a hamburger and shared it and a hot chocolate.  Finally she wanted to go out again.  By that time we only had time for one run before the lifts closed.  After that run she wanted to keep going, but it was too late!  Silly girl, she did better on the subsequent lessons.
