I like to try at least a couple new recipes out each month. I tried a really good one for dinner tonight - Thai Chicken Wraps. Scott and I thoroughly enjoyed dinner, Sari and Kate did not. The girls both thought the wraps looked good when they sat down to eat, but quickly changed their minds after the first couple chews of their first bite. Kate was distracted when she took her bite and started chewing and was also saying something to Sari when she burst into tears. "I don't like this!" She was very dramatic. Apparently they don't appreciate all the fresh ginger and garlic. I gave them a break tonight and let them have cereal. I usually just make them eat what we're having or go hungry, but this dinner's flavors were more foreign to them. Leah actually ate hers pretty well though, and I'm thinking this is my very favorite meal right now.
Last week on St. Patrick's Day, I made Corned Beef with potatoes, carrots, and cabbage for the first time. It was ok, but I'm not a big fan of corned beef. Then we made rueben sandwiches the next day with the leftovers, and they were just ok too. I think Scott liked the sandwiches a lot better than I did.

I have never tried corned beef. I actually think it sounds good, but I guess you never know until you try it.
