I started potty training Lucy on Monday, January 13th. I started out slow, like I did with Leah. We'd go at it good in the morning, then I'd get sick of changing wet pants and she'd wear a diaper in the afternoon. After a couple days, I figured out if I left her naked she'd make it to the toilet every time, but as soon as I put pants on her she'd pee in them. After about 4 days of nakedness, we tried underwear and pants again, and she was good to go(well, not quite, she had two days of poop accidents, one of which was on the kitchen floor(Eek!), but after that she was good to go!)! After a week and a half she stopped having accidents. It has now been a full week without an accident. She was a little faster than Leah to train. I never have to remind her or ask her if she needs to go, she just runs to the toilet hollering to me. I do help her whenever she tells me she's going. It has made her seem a lot older in a short amount of time. She doesn't stay dry all night yet. She does get up between 5 and 6 to go every morning though. I took the front off her crib so she didn't have to climb out. I probably should have done that sooner. She loves feeling like she has a big girl bed.
She really resists napping now. She'll take a nap once or twice a week, and the other days if she sits still too long in the late afternoon she crashes.
