The second day we were on our vacation, we went to Minnetonka Cave in the morning. It was about a 90 minute tour and I think they said the temperature in the cave was 45 degrees. The kids started getting cold towards the end of the tour. Before the tour started Ian was in the backpack and Scott set him on the pavement in it. He tipped himself over and got a huge goose egg and scrape. I felt bad for him. Poor boy. I was glad we went though the cave and I think we'll take the kids through Mt. Timpanogos cave next summer or so. After the cave we drove to Bloomington Lake. It was a short little hike to the lake and there was a rope swing there too. Sari, Kate, Scott, and I all went off the rope swing. It was a MUCH colder lake than Pack Saddle Lake. I only jumped once. That was enough cold water for me. Everywhere we go with cool/cold water I have to make sure to give Kate an antihistamine for her cold Urticaria. That seems to be working pretty well for her to keep the hives away.
I like this picture of Scott. He looks so happy and carefree in it.
Watching the rope swingers.
