This winter has been crazy! We didn't see any pavement for at least two months straight. It really did a number on our van's suspension always driving on bumpy snow and ice all over the roads. Leah has LOVED it. She is such an outdoors kid. She was out there any chance she got (once it finally stopped being below zero). She and Angelica made this snowman one day after school. Ian was loving it too. I love the picture of Ian with Leah in the background lugging a heavy snowball for her snowman. I also love my Montana kid in the background without a coat on in the first picture. Now that most of the snow has melted and there are days that are above freezing Leah has been out rollerblading constantly. Last summer she roller-skated a lot but I think because of skiing she thinks rollerblading is easier.

She got clay for Christmas and is really good at whipping out cute little characters. I can't believe how fast she does it and she doesn't look at anything to make them. She made Mickey for Ian since he is all about Mickey!
Leah at Get Air with Bella. Bella's mom Carla got baptized in February so that was great. She's the one that ran the neighborhood camp this summer.
I got to go volunteer in Leah's class for their Valentine's party. I really like doing that in the younger grades. The kids are all still pretty sweet. It's not quite as fun as they get older. I really like Leah's teacher, Mrs. Pinter too. Sari had her in 1st grade too. I'm a little sad the kids will be going to Boulder Elementary next year instead of Arrowhead.
